Pretty Gritty

Pretty Gritty are a Yorkshire based business, specialising in supporting the health, fitness and wellbeing of women. Set up by Emma and Katie; two British Triathlon coaches, they offer group exercise classes as well as hosting retreats in Cumbria and North Yorkshire each year. The retreats on offer are yoga, hiking and wild swimming, or a more energetic mountain bike adventure camp.Pretty Gritty also hold an annual festival of sport for women. The ‘Energetic by Nature’ Festival takes place close to Leeds and is a weekend jam packed with yoga, Pilates, guided trail runs, dance classes, guided mountain bike rides and much more besides. With camping and Glamping options available, it’s a great way to bring a large group of likeminded women together for a weekend of fun, exercise and friendship.Emma and Katie hope that their own love of the outdoors and adventure can be spread to others for them to enjoy through these Pretty Gritty events.
